Private equity and venture capital, the ‘0100 Conference Mediterranean’ to be held in Milan

The Italian edition of the upcoming Zero One Hundred Conference, dedicated to venture capital and private equity, will be held in Milan from 28th to 30th October, at Palazzo Mezzanotte. This event intends to promote meetings and relations between investment funds and international innovators. After the previous edition held in Rome in 2023, Milan will host the event for the first time. The Lombard capital boasts 2,740 innovative start-ups, which represent 20% of the Italian total. Additionally, there are 174 active VC investors and 1,695 funding rounds opened since 2010, as per the YesMilano Innovation Map. Milan is also the Italian leader in the number of European patents filed. In 2022, there are 726 out of 4,773 filed in Italy as a whole, which equals 15.2% in the metropolitan city of Milan, according to Unioncamere – Dintec elaborations on EPO data.

“After meeting with most of the operators in the sector in Milan and accepting their solicitations, I committed myself to attracting an event of international calibre dedicated to Venture Capital & Private Equity,’ says Alessia Cappello, Council City member for Economic Development of the Municipality of Milan. ‘In recent years, Milan has become the main hub of Italian innovation. I am delighted to have found the ideal partner and to host a major event like the Zero One Hundred Conference in Milan for the first time”.
